This game has great track layouts and they are beautifully rendered.
The cars are about as modeled as Forza2's Which isnt bad... but they just dont quite measure up to the environments.. so they always look just a touch out of place.

As I said before; this game is NOT a sim. Its not even close.
Its basically GRID but with broken leaderboards.
This game with all its problems is a 6/10 and no more!
After playing this game for a week it is clear that this is NO SIM. This game was on its way. but EA got scared and changed the formula at the last minute.
The result is less than stellar. The physics are clearly as arcade like as GRID.
The leaderboards are broken and almost no one can drive clean...in multiplayer.
The physics are so much NOT sim that you can literally throw your cars into the turns.

Both games are going to be insane... and again... both sides are saying "mine is better"...
Both games have their strong and weak points..but in the end they are both great games and we the gamers win out.
There has NEVER been a better time to be a racing fan on the consoles..Bring em both on!

To the guy who thinks Forza3 runs only at 720....WRONG... it runs in 1080p as well as GT5.
With Dirt2 (out now), Shift (2 days), Forza3 (Oct 27), GT5 (dec? Hopefully), this is literally the best year in videogame history for racing.
I dont understand why people cant have room for both games in their lives? I dont own a PS3...but you can bet your last buck that I will be borrowing my friends for at least a few month...
The painting features are still 1000 layers per side.... but the interface is more user friendly and with 10 times the polys the Jaggies are a thing of the past.
This game is going to be amazing... they improved the physics; the interface; the graphics by leaps and bounds; the online auction house is majorly improved; and the online play will be just as much fun if not more than FM2. I spent 1000's of hours playing Fm2 and will be living on FM3 for the next two years or so again....
The car looks brilliant even though this is not the type of livery I would use..
Personally, I enjoy racing liveries.

Because some people just cant be happy unless they are bashing others in order to make themselves feel somehow superior. This goes for both sides of this particular isle (ps3 and Xbox fanboys alike).
Its amazing... you would think that they were getting paid for...
Forza3 is going to be a fantastic Driving and racing game. The best parts are that you dont have to race the types of races you dont like in career.
Dont want to drift? then you dont have to ... the Career molds itself to your driving likes and dislikes.
Also this vid is not of a guy drifiting... its of a guy that cant drive to save his arse!

I ve got to agree with some of the peeps here...
The PS3 has and will continue to outsell the 360 in Asia. That's not to say that the 360 hasn't improved its numbers in Asia since launching the original Xbox. But they have yet to come anywhere near the lion's share of the Asian market.
They have certainly stepped this game up a notch from the first...

Stunning scenery combined with tight twisting turns and bumper to bumper racing...What more could you ask for?
If the physics are half as good as the graphics then this game is going to blow Forza2's physics out of the water.
